The radical right committed a highly organized terrorist attack on their own nation’s capitol, where they forcibly entered the United States Capitol to attempt a coup via terrorist attack using milspec weaponry and equipment, causing the death of 7 people, 53 injured, at least one on life support, threatening to kidnap and execute politicians including the VPOTUS, destroying looting and stealing laptops documents and other property, deploying bombs and IEDs, attempted kidnapping of politicians with 3/4" wide zip ties (aka 27-inch nylon tactical restraints), eye gouged a police officer causing the loss of his eye, calling black cops the n-word, pissed and shit all over the halls & offices in the capitol, etc etc…
It was more than just an insurrection, it was a coup attempt and neofascist terrorist attack. Trump should face torture and televised capital punishment.
