Trump on science

Donnie boy doesn't seem to put much faith in science. Doesn't that worry you? Or do you simply think that anything is better than extreme leftism?

I don't live in the USA but I hate extreme left. I actually hate extreme right too, for that matter. But I worry about science deniers. How do you people look at this? Peace.

For most of my lifetime, the conservative movement was the one that had trouble with science.

But with the rise of the gender studies stuff, it’s a problem among leftists now, too.

Personally, I think the climate change denialism is the bigger threat. So as distasteful as I find the “50 genders” nonsense, I side with the people who are not actively trying to turn the Earth into a giant barbecue grill.

The US is a drop in the ocean compared to China. All the virtue signaling in the world won't make a difference because we can't control China.

A drop in the ocean compared to China? We're like half of their output, with a quarter of the population.

We have EPA. They do not.

I don't think that explains why we produce carbon dioxide at around double the rate of China.

Yes, of course the OP.

He asks a question about science or science denial but doesn't state anything scientific.

Well f.ex. global warming and matters about covid. Dinosaurs vs the bible if you want :)

Sure, you can make an arugument or have a debate surrounding those issues.

But nobody proposed anything specific regarding them.

Trump's views on this has been fairly obvious. I'm suprised you're dragging this out of me. But he seems to not really believe in global warming and doesn't find covid that serious. Basically he seems to think science is bullshit. Or a lot of it.

the US carbon footprint dropped more under Trump then any countries in the Paris treaty. We’re leading the world in this area. Yet, we don’t believe in science? It amazes me people say that.

The left doesn't even believe In standard biology .

It is people on the left saying genetically modified food is killing us, science did that.

Scientists said wrap your houses and children in asbestos to make them fireproof.

Scientists harnessed nuclear power for energy....and bombs and are the backbone of the military industrial complex.

Scientists sent probes into space with directions how to find us and details about our culture, abilities and physical properties....

Scientists search for and find ways to extract fossil fuels and refine them into a variety of earth "killing" products.

Scientists figured out how to make good drugs.....and the fucked up ones!

Scientists made fast food cheap, addictive and harmful. They put the coke in coca cola and then replaced it with all of those teaspoons of refined sugar.

Scientists are most likely the ones who were experimenting with viruses to make biological weapons and leaked COVID 19 in the first place.

But go ahead and tell me to beLIeVE aLl scIeNTiSts!!

I am a total science nerd atheist by the way, but they have done some fucked up shit in the name of helping us. It is pretty hypocritical of these hippies to spend a weekend protesting GMO's, the next protesting nuclear energy, oil and fracking and the next day shit on Trump for not believing science and going against a doctor's ever changing guidelines.

Believe this science, There are about 4 billion too many humans on earth and we need to be culled. Think about how many of Earth's problems would be helped or outright solved if 4 billion people disappeared.

Science knows that is true and that the population explosion is their fault.

Fuck everybody, THANOS 2020!!!

Anything is better than extreme leftism.

Also, liberals can claim to be the “party of science” when they quit pushing the gender nonsense. Until then it’s laughable.

OP seems to be confusing science with policy

Science is the pursuit of knowledge, not particular policy outcomes.

I actually think it is the Left that purposely conflates the two:

Science SAYS there is global warming; therefore SCIENCE says we need the Green New Deal… Therefore the Democratic Socialists are the party of SCIENCE.
