TUF 11th Episode gets a 2.0 Rating

Ivan Trembow from mmaweekly.com is reporting a 2.0 rating for the last episode aired. So it's gone from a 1.4 to a 2.0 with one regular episode left. I heard most TV shows decline in ratings over a season, even the successful ones.

Where's that guy that said the ratings were spiraling downward?

He shot himself.

Yes, but if Dana hadn't been horribly mismanaging the UFC the whole time, insiders tell me the show would have at least a 1000.0 rating by now. I tell you that Dana has lost the confidence of the Fertittas, Spike TV, Fox TV, and even Ryan Seacrest. This is the kind of horribly missed opportunity that happens when you appoint a boxercise instructor instead of a webpage genius like those mavens at Fightsport.

You can't replace Ryan Seacrest. Some wounds never heal.

If Dana had only worn a toupee, I think ratings would be at least 69.0 right now. It's that kind of basic lack of grooming that is killing the UFC.

Wow, great news!

I can't believe more than 2 million people are watching the UFC every week...Dana was right when he imagined a 2.0 rating, and I think next Monday will be even higher.

KICK F*CKING ASS!

ttt for tuf season 2...

lol@ "Koscheck = ratings", that should never be said even as a joke.

Hello? Hellllloooooooo????

I guess they're not at home.

I cant wait for season II

maybe they get a boost cuz people wanna see him get beat?

quote from Goku: "thats awesome...nba on ABC didnt even get that high of a rating..."

Goku is correct. The NBA on ABC most recently drew a 1.3 overall rating, which is pretty typical for a regular season NBA game on ABC. While network TV ratings are different from cable TV ratings, this week's TUF still had far more viewers than the NBA.

Sweet! Outdrawing the NBA might turn some heads in the sports establishment.

(Note to fightsport lurkers- the "sports establishment" does not mean MMAWeekly or Kirik, as much as I respect both of them. It means ESPN, the networks, etc.)
