Team Koscheck's Marc Stevens (12-5) vs. Team GSP's Cody McKenzie (11-0)

Dana does the intros and fight-format recap, referee Steve Mazzagatti gets the action started, Cody waves off a call for a touch of the gloves, and we're underway. Cody charges in, and Marc checks a leg kick and immediately shoots for a takedown. Cody hits the deck but locks in a guillotine, and Marc's immediately in escape mode. Cody wraps his legs around one of opponent's, and within seconds, Marc is clearly asleep from the patented choke. The ref halts the fight, Cody celebrates the victory, and Team Koscheck and its head coach sits in absolutely stunned silenced.

"Cody did what he does best," Georges says.

"Koscheck was absolutely [expletive] horrified when Stevens gets choked out unconscious by Georges St-Pierre's No. 6 pick," Dana says with a laugh. "Absolutely horrified."

Josh and Marc admit their shock while Team GSP simply smiles and quietly celebrates back in the dressing room.

"Listen to me guys," Georges quickly announces. "You remember when they won the fight and hit the wall all cocky? I don't want this [expletive] on my team. I want you to be nice."

Cody knows Josh would've rubbed in a loss if he fell short against Marc. But with direction from Georges, he knows to be the better man.

Next door in the Team Koscheck dressing room, there's absolutely dead silence until Nam finally speaks up.

"Wow" is about all he can muster.

Kos's face was funny as hell! Priceless, to see someone like him rendered speechless.

If Cody is ever in the Houston area, put me on the list to buy him a beer!

Nobody gave Cody a chance against that guy. I was just hoping against all odds that he would win.

Yellow team was acting like a bunch of pricks in the house and they def portrayed Stevens as coming off like a typical jock asshole.

Really excited by both wins. Hopefully this tempers the attitude on Team Koscheck now.

WHERE IS YOUR WRESTLING NOW?!?!?!? Wrestling since he was five years old and what happens? He gets taken to guillotine town. MUAHAHAH! Best episode of the seasons.

that show was priceless. cody has a sick guillotine. i slept good lastnight. thanks to cody. he shut kos's mouth. kos trying to scare cody by challenging him. lol. good for cody didn't back down one bit. just cause your an top mma fighter, don't mean people will be scared of you. he is such a prick and a bully.

That guillotine was great.  I big FU to kos.  Do you think the reason he pulls those guillotines off so easily is bc of his competetion? You dont see guys in the UFC pull those off so automaticlly  but to me it looks like cody would.

How can Koscheck watch any episode this season, especially this one, and not wish he was more like GSP than himself?

That Cody kid is awesome!

Cody comes off as a little nervous or shaky, but I don't think that kid is afraid of ANYthing.   He's got some dark side to him and I'm thinking he's going to do well.

Man, Kos isn't looking like a good guy at ALL this season.   GSP looks all class.   Great episode.

I haven't watch TUF in a while... But reading the recap makes me want to see this episode.  When does this replay or can I catch it online somewhere?

Cody comes off as being completely stoned out of his mind, even when he's not. Which I think is why people in the house are under estimating him. Somewhere behind those vacant eyes and the vague, meandering conversation is a highly analytical and technical approach to jiujitsu and MMA that has resulted in him winning what 12 fights with the EXACT same move?

He also had a PERFECT gameplan for that fight. He came in and put pressure on his opponent fast and early to force him to fall back on wrestling by reflex. He's a credit to GSP and his Trainers.

Also, OMFG did Camarillo look PISSED when homeboy got guillotined.

Cody showed no fear when Kos said he wanted to put his hands on him.

In reality, Cody is basically a "guillotine black belt" and even though he was 11-0 using only that before the show, now that it's been shown that he can beat someone who is aware of it and near ufc caliber with it on national tv, it's going to be very difficult for him to get that against more experienced opposition. But I enjoyed the hell out of it last night.

Now for him it is the race to add to his game and learn to use the fact that guys are going to be anticipating it against them.

I was reading a thred last night, his Jitz coach was saying he does it to BJJ blackblets all the time, so maybe it's just wicked. I read that everyone that has walked into that gym has been caught in that sub. Pretty crazy, pulls it when guys have him in side control, I believe the words were " a wrestlers worst nightmare" they think that can get out of it with side control, and they can't, they go out.

Best episode this season. If they always showed two fights a night it would be a bit better.

With the way he said it, I don't think I would've been too afraid either. He sounded and looked extremely ghey when he said that, especially when he looked Cody up and down while he said it. I think Cody will surprise a lot more people before his career's done.

That was my point it did sound ghey when he said it.

Ya two fights made it way better.

I was laughing my ass of when they guy got choked out.

And Jonathan Brookins looks to be the favorite this season

I have no doubt he hits it all the time. Every academy has certain guys with certain moves they can pull on just about everybody. The thing is, this guy didn't respect Cody's guillotine because I guess he didn't trust that the level of competition he beat with it was worthy of his concern. If people just stop trying to take the guy down, he's going to have to find other ways to win. Maybe some of those guillotine finishes were situations where he was beating a guy's ass real bad and just took the guillotine to finish him. I just know he will need more than a guillotine to compete in the UFC. A lot of guys on TUF have had go-to moves that worked well on the show, then didn't amount to much in the UFC.

Brookens did that same lateral drop to Aldo before Aldo destroyed his leg Phone Post

Best episode in a long time. Any day Kos gets humbled is a good day. Twice in the SAME day is like an early xmas present.
