TUF 2 Where are they now??

Serioulsy, I don't have the answers, but some signigicant name guys that I wonder what happen to them.

Anywayone know?

1) Brad Imes -- wasn't he runner up in HW?

2) Luke Cummo -- heard he had some legal issues.  Does he still trane ufc?

3) Joe Daddy -- since cut from the UFC, I seem to recall 1 or 2 regional fihgts.  Did he retire?

4) Jason Von Flue -- though he didn't invent it, many people credit him with "The Von Flue Choke"

5) Sammy Morgan -- was semifinalist, and had promise at one time

6) Gurgel - Retired?  he went on to coach some competitive guys

7 & 8) Rob Macdonald?  Tom Murphy

I'm pretty sure Marcus Davis, Petruzelli, Whitehead, Christianson and Jardine all retired, right?  Burkman earned his way back to the UFC, Rashad is a superstar.

Who knows whats up with some of these guys?

one off them lives near me. LOL not saying who.

KICK - one off them lives near me. LOL not saying who.

Whoa!

Luke still tranes UFC .... He was supposed to be scheduled as a guest on my little, internet project. However .. He is very illusive. Phone Post 3.0

Stevenson fought in January. Phone Post 3.0

Why not KICK?

Thanks Fabes and INDK.  I had no idea on either of those

Imes and Von Flue have both been retired for five years I believe. Phone Post 3.0

Isnt Whitehead serving time for statutory rape or something similar?

How can I argue with Chainsaw Charles?

Brad Imes got retired after about 5 losses in a row-Morgan got hurt I think

TeamRenzo - Isnt Whitehead serving time for statutory rape or something similar?

Bull shit charges

Lol sorry it was a sincere question I have been crediting it to him for years when I teach it I love that move. I remember him describing it when he first did it as something he came up with. Thanks guys great thread the guys who did TUF 1 and 2 were true pioneers they took a huge gamble no one expected that show to turn out the way it did. Phone Post 3.0

I've heard old time BJJ'ers say that type of shoulder choke has been around the BJJ community for many years before Von Flue caught Karalexis with it.  But I honestly don't know who did it first...probably some Judo guy in the early 1900's did at the same time some old school catch wrestling guy did it.

But I think Jason was the first one to do it on a big time MMA broadcast.

You're forgetting a bunch of guys

Pertrizzi owns a MMA school here in Orlando called -The Jungle

I met Josh Burkman @ UFC 57 in 2006 and got this pic http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b9df32b3127ccec64eef9a57a400000040O00AaNHDlk0ZtWQPbz4M/cC/f%3D0/ls%3D00205342984420090113224423069.JPG/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/ Blue plz

Rashad, Jardine, Christenson, Guillard, Marcus Davis
Great season, great fighters

Wasn't Jason Von FLue a replacement for someone who got hurt?

Episode 7: No Respect (Original Air Date: 3 October 2005)

Hughes does not seem to care about Jason Von Flue winning his fight with Gurgel and is even playing cards in the locker room while the doctors look at Von Flue.
Matt Hughes says in an interview that even if Von Flue had lost, he would not have cared or considered it a loss.
Team Franklin wins the heavyweight mud wrestling challenge.
After receiving stitches from his fight, Von Flue does not receive any congrats from Team Hughes when he returns to the house.
Hughes sends Von Flue over to Team Franklin for reshuffling.
Von Flue is upset about this, especially because he won his fight, and curses Hughes.
Seth Petruzelli defeated Dan Christison by unanimous decision after three rounds.

I forgot what a douchebag Hughes was on that show-maybe it was just the editing. I remember him making everyone do a Bible verse or something and he was a character in the Bible-
