Please tell me I am not the only one who gets annoyed at the edited fights on Contender. Now, I understand why they do it. It is to sell the fight game to those who aren't typically fans of combat sports. TUF is specifically made for fight fans. Less time spent on making sure you think they are nice young men and more time spent showing the fights and training.

I think it's really gay too. After every fight I am left wondering if what we saw was even what the fight was actually like.
I'm sure that for at least a few of them, the "judges decisions" about which character to kick off the show will be made ahead of time by TV producers. Then they can just show the parts of the fight where the guy they want to win looks good, even if the other guy is kicking his ass the rest of the time.
