The first series I'd guess they needed strong (established) trainers to sell the show. Should they take that stance again...

Perhaps David ABBOTT would be good for the other team setting up the match we never got. Would it still sell???
Otherwise IF established the show is allready a sell , they may think to utilise the show to sell stars they allready have that are on the rise?
Maybee a celeb (eg. ROGAN) as a team captain that then aquires specialist trainers like LAIMON etc...

Frand Shamrock and Royce Gracie which would build up to a Legends match or something. Stupid? Yep, but I can wish can't I?
