Smooth move Zuffa Phone Post 3.0

You think UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship?

Nah, its Unjustly Firing Cutmen.

What a crock of shit Phone Post 3.0

If he did anything for anyone it was this guy especially.

This tweet speaks more than any. Phone Post 3.0

Surprised that the UFC is willing to look so chickenshit over such small potatoes. Stitch's comments were nothing. Dana takes no prisoners.

Read Lauzon's blog. Lauzon is right and any business owner knows it.

Sad.. Phone Post 3.0

Its sad that Reebok made a statement before the UFC did

Reebok ?@Reebok 40s41 seconds ago
UFC fans: We have no input on decisions of UFC employment or fighter compensation. Our focus is providing the best gear for fighters & fans.

stitch is obv the best at what he does, couple that with being one of the most genuinely nice and friendly guys you'll ever meet.........he'll move on to greener pastures and somehow end up in a better place

weirdly coincidental that both burt and stitch, while dicked over by the UFC, seem somehow very accepting of their fates anyway

add me to the list of people that will not purchase anymore PPVs

I hope guys can still hire him individually as their cut-man. A good cut-man is hard to find and can be the difference between a win and a loss.

Dana and the Fertittas need to get their heads out of their asses. They're alienating most of their hardcore fans with these types of draconian decisions. The fans that kept the UFC alive during the dark days are the core audience. Now that audience is leaving (not buying PPVs or Reebok's shit). Is that a good business decision?

Most casual/"mainstream" fans became fans because a hardcore fan convinced them to watch. A lot of us are "the UFC guy" in our group of friends. When there's a good fight coming up, we tell our buddies and one of us gets the PPV. That's going to happen less and less. Alienating the fans that helped your company remain viable is not smart.

Hey Beer Man - Read Lauzon's blog. Lauzon is right and any business owner knows it.

Stitch's comments were very mild and more like questions than criticism. And yes, critizicing your boss in public can get you fired but the question here is should it? For UFC to fire him over those is ridiculous and just proves UFC wants to create an atmosphere of fear. Criticize us and we'll give you terrible match-ups, we'll fire you, we'll defame you in public or we won't give you interviews/press passes.

UFC went from being perceived as the saviour of MMA creating the unified rules, marketing mma, lobbying for legalizing it to this corporate juggernaut that's alienating its hardcore fans and supporters by doing shit like this.

I have two things to say...

1. Fuck Reebok! I will never again buy a Reebok product (not that I ever bought much of their stuff anyway).

2. Fuck Zuffa!
