Heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson is considered one of the baddest men to ever step in the boxing ring. He was former heavyweight champion of the world, but was not undefeated in his career.

In combat sports, it is very rare for anyone to stay undefeated, even the best fighters in the world. It is even more rare in mixed martial arts. Until this year, Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor were undefeated inside the UFC Octagon and both suffered shocking upset losses. Tyson recently appeared on the Jim Rome show and talked about what he thought went wrong for them and gave some advice for the future:

Tyson on Rousey: "Listen, you say those things, but that's just our ego's really being bruised that's all," Tyson told "The Jim Rome Show" recently. "We get it together, we realize it's a discipline, we need to correct some mistakes that we made to increase our desire, and life goes on.

"Now she's going to get ready to fight the girl (Miesha Tate) that just beat Holly Holm and most likely she's going to beat that woman."

Tyson on McGregor: "My personal opinion, I think he went up too fast in weight, and I think he fought the wrong guy in that weight," Tyson said. "It's just something that happens in fighting, and we should all learn from our mistakes.

"That's what fighting is all about, learning from our mistakes, improving our mistakes, and improving ourselves. Not giving up."

I wouldn't waste a vote of any kind on you but he's already beaten Poirier who is unbeaten so far since his move up to LW.

Let me guess, the new Poirier that was only beaten by Conor about a year ago would suddenly destroy now? Phone Post 3.0

him would suddenly destroy him.

Fuck you TLAM. Making me correct posts to your troll comment.

I love Frankie but it will be a great day if Conor beats him just to read the shit you'll post after it. Phone Post 3.0

I think he has a chance against most of the lightweight division - even against RDA (who I think obliterates him) he poses some dangerous unknowns - he brings a really exciting intelligent and innovative style. He DEFINATELY has talent in cutting weight - quite incredible how he drops down to feather and went on that run.

When Dana invited Tyson to watch Rousey train.

Why didn't Tyson take Rousey, Dana and Edmund to one said and speak his mind.

Tyson dropped the ball on that. Phone Post 3.0
