As I feared, it was obviously a fight against a see of both rabid fans and shady ticket scalpers. I re-freshed at 10:00:02 and it still came up pre-sale, so my timing was screwed. All the $50 tickets went out immediately, I hope someone here got some. Zuffa or Ticketmaster really needs to put the limit at 2 or 4 for presale, might help the cause a bit.
I managed to score 2 $100 tickets, which between this, the fees, and the fight club membership puts me over 3x what I can afford, but at least the card looks like a good one so far.
Will anyone else be attending?
nobones - $100 tix? That's like 300 level better off watching at home. I've been to 300 level in Prudential Center you'll need binoculars. Just go to the weigh ins, hang out at the buffet afterwards you'll meet loads of fighters then watch the fight at a bar somewhere. I've been to 6 different UFC shows if you're not ring side or ground floor it's not really worth the price these days.
Thanks for your astute observation, but it's not neccessary. I know full well what the Prudential Center is like, as I've been to about a 20 different events there already. I'm also on a budget, and am going to enjoy the experience of just being there. I've worked in pro sports, so I have no need to sit cageside just to feel special. You're welcome to gift me $1200 for cageside seats though, if you'd like.
I sat in the nose bleed seats ( due to cheap friends) in Philly and pretty much watched the fight on the TV they had up there.
I got 2 seats 9 rows back from the floor for $600 a pop and hope they are close enough.
For some reason my code didn't work the first two times I put it, I might have been able to get floor seats if not for this fuck up.
Nitecrawler - Wanted to go for $100 seats, but seems $50's & $100's were not part of the FC presale or they only sold like 4 tickets at that price LOL.I hear ya, I must have grabbed tickets 3 & 4. I'm just bummed this card wasn't last year, I'd have blown the cash for prime seats. Times change.
Got 2tix for 3rd row in the first Mezz. Wanted 1st row in the Mezz as I've been to 3 live UFC's and 2 out of the 3 were there. Gotta say probably the best seats in the house as you can see right into the cage.
Fuck it, 3rd row is better then nothing I suppose. This card better not fall apart or this will be me:
I still think Dana and co. fucked up by not having more cards in the Tri-State area. There is more disposable income per family in NY and NJ than just about anywhere else in the country. Plenty of money to be made here, but they felt compelled to have cards out in the breadbasket where they have to hand out tickets in parking lots for free.
They are finally giving the NorthEast a good quality card. Jersey/Connecticut hasn't been given a good UFC card since the late 30's.

I used to take the AC cards for granted when they were lackluster. I figured, no point in going....they'll be back soon enough with something better.
And then I waited.....
Waited some more.....
Finally, we got......Mike Bisping??
Waited more and more..
Bottom line is, I'm going to enjoy this card because it'll probably be the last one ever in NJ. When NY gets legalized this year, it'll be in MSG most of the time.
Mohegan Sun is a great atmosphere. Everyone will be in the casino/hotel since there isn't anywhere else to go. Plus there isn't a bad seat in the arena.
I agree on Mohegan sun, we might not be able to get a a full ufc but a ultimate finale or a fight night would be perfect.
^ yea i went to Bellator 11 at Mohegan Sun this past June, paid like 60 for cage side seats
the arena is great, i wish they would hold a WEC or a Fight Night Live there
Couldn't get shit. Fucking Fight Club.
are most of them sold out?
i'm dumb and thought they would be 10 AM PST

I guess it's dependent on the venue. i saw UFC at the Target Center in Minneapolis, my girl and I paid $75 a ticket for nosebleed seats, but I have to say it wasn't that bad. We had a god's eye view on the ring. I wasn't terribly far, and what little things we missed we caught on the jumbotron.
I have to say though, scalpers and 3rd party buyers snag those tickets up FAST. Then they slowly crank up the price or sale them on ebay. After all the tacked on fees it was about $90 for those $50 tickets.
I'm not sure how this is legal. You can scalp online but not in public?
Got a pair of tix for Section 4. $300 level face value.
I got a pair of the $200 tix in section 109, Row 8. I think those are going to be really good, I am psyched. Thew back some $300 lower levels which were all the way to the right.
Everyone who bought online via Ticketmaster should take care to confirm the seats they received are the ones they paid for.
I wrote down the tickets being held for me, I completed the order. 10 mins later my email came.....seats are NOWHERE near the ones held for me, half way across the arena in a different section. I called Ticketmaster, and they are locked out from doing anything because its presale.
They also cared to tell me (which I already assumed), that there is nowhere near close to a sellout of affordable tickets. The presale reserved only a certain block of these tickets, and the majority of them will be released tomorrow during the newsletter presale and general public sale saturday.
So basically, the Fight Club and Ticketmaster both fucked me over. The Fight Club essentially gave me a super small sample size of affordable tickets, which then got decimated by scalpers. After overspending on tickets in an area I was at least content with, Ticketmaster then proceeded to fuck me over by changing the ticket location after I paid.
Damn man that really sucks, can't believe they would just switch them out like that on you.
However, it does make me feel like I have a better chance for tickets tomorrow.
Anyone know when they go on sale to the general public?
Saturday at 10 am et.

It's a state law that some tickets need to be avaialable the day of the public on-sale. Only 50 tickets in each price category were reserved for Saturday.

Hey saucy, out of curiosity, what is the discrepancy in tickets available between Fight Club presale and Newsletter presale?
