UFC 124 Betting Time

It's that time again; time to put your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

It's UFC 124 and, in my opinion, there's some money to be made this weekend.

I certainly won't be betting against GSP even though there are good odds on Kos, but an underdog I do like is this:

Live Underdogs:

I'll be the first to admit that I've been impressed by Charles Oliveira in his first two UFC fights. However, that said, he wasn't having it all his own way with Efrain Escudero up until the submission so for Jim Miller to be at +113 is good value.

Miller is submission savvy, durable, well-rounded and extremely hard to finish. His only losses come via decision to champion Frankie Edgar and challenger Gray Maynard. He's a grinder, and his unrelenting pressure will likely be something Oliveira has never felt before. Unorthodox striking and great submissions are on Oliveira's side, but the grit of Miller cannot be overlooked and I like his chances here.

Who you guys putting your money on?

Ladbrokes are giving 10/1 on Kos by ko/tko.

That's actually not bad for a couple of quid of anyone's money, as if he does win, that's the only way I can see it happening - catching Georges with something wild.

^^ 17/2 on Paddy Power, so Ladbrokes looks alright for that!

GSP on points 8/5.

Down to 9/1 today but still decent. Also quite like 4/1 for McCorkle by submission.

Jim Miller is the best play at those odds.  Almedia is also a good bet.

I'm quite surprised those odds are as they are really!

I agree but i think almedia at -175 is the best bet

Almeida seems like way to good of a bet at -160 on Sportsbook...I'm surprised he's not a much bigger favorite

I like Almeida, Dan Miller and Alves in a triple.

BetDSI is offering Live in Progress lines on the fights tonight.

Done pretty good there:

These two were probably the better earners we gave ya though ;)

Money Maker:

It's hard to see how a triple on Alves, Dan Miller and Ricardo Almeida won't come in. £10 returns £26.58 with Paddy Power.

The Longshot:

If brotherly love is your thing, the Millers represent some good value on a double, with potential earnings of £26.67 from £10.
