you do realize that uh America and Japan have vastly different cultures? I mean this is pretty self explanatory but you seem not to understand this? You do realize that the Japanese spend a large portion of New Years Eve watching tv? In fact it's one of the biggest days of the year for tv.
On the other hand in America we get shit faced drunk
