Yeh there is no point paying for them. Would be paying to watch a screen.
Times have changed, I got the best seats for UFC 75 for about a quarter of the price they are looking for at 142.
I knew there was money in Brazil but I didn't know the rich did so well if the UFC can get away with these prices

275 to watch the screens
1000 or 1600 to watch the fights.
At least it should be easy to find a cool place to watch the fights on tv in Rio this time around. I remember last year watching UFC 117 when I was in Rio, it was really hard to find a place to watch it (we ended up watching it in Mudbug at Copacabana).
But after the recent popularity it should be a walk in the park. Guess last year they only showed the UFC on the Combate-channel.
Good luck brother, I had a shit of a time trying to get them for 134. Took me until the day of the event for a huge mark up. I went alone though and had no dramas, other than trying to get a taxi home at 1am with thousands of other people and taxi drivers pretty much auctioning off their services to the highest bidders.
Your view won't be shit, even if you're in the nosebleeds. The stands are really steep, even if you're at the top you still have a great view. Also, there are no seat allocations...just benches..you sit wherever, 134 was an absolute free for all.
If there is really an english section, don't bother with it...get in with the brazilians, never known an atmosphere like it. Incredible!
