this according to Ariel Helwani
Ariel Helwani Twitter:
Just interviewed Bones. Video will be up in a bit. He said his fight will be in Baltimore but doesn't know exactly when. He's happy about it

it could be on april 12th.
It's April 26th in Baltimore, according Jon Jones' brother's tweet.
“@Artj97: So excited to hear my brothers next UFC fight is in Baltimore!!!! Let's goo #April26”
Sheeeeeeeeeeiiit
Nice. Close to my home. Looks like I can keep my string of consecutive events starting with UFC 167 rolling
hope it's 4/12, would be a damn shame to let something as stupid as finals get in my way.
Being a Baltimore resident, I find it hard to believe the UFC will hold a PPV title fight in Baltimore. Won't believe it until I see tickets on sale...
The next 2 title fight PPV's for the UFC are both being held in venues that have a seating capacity greater than the Baltimore Arena's 14,000. UFC 169 Cruz Vs Barao at the Prudential Center (Seating Capacity over 18,000). UFC 171 Hendricks Vs Lawler at the American Airlines Center (Seating Capacity over 19,000). Why would the UFC bring a title fight to a smaller venue in a City that has a PPV tax and an uncapped gate tax?
holy fuck, if this is true, I will be there. Currently live like an hour away
Ohhh yeah! Haven't gotten to go to a live event in a long time.

They'll be lucky to to get 14k people there for 169.
Just confirmed on Sports Center:
Jones v Teixiera - April 26 - Baltimore Arena.
They'll sell a lot of tickets.
I'm sure there's more to it than what I think, but I'm a little surprised Baltimore hasnt gotten more big shows. BMore sits within easy driving of DC/ NoVa and Philly and has had a solid local promotion for years now.
Mmmmm, Baltimore
