As far as I know both he and Aldo are in pretty good health right now - what's the rationale for the UFC waiting 7 months for these guys to fight? Aldo will be 50-50 to make that fight bc of his back and neck issues. So once that happens we will have waited another year to watch both guys fight - after McGregor missed close to a year bc of his knee injury. May would have provided plenty of time to build it and still been 5 months away
