UFC 203 did between 740,000 and 820,000 pay-per-view buys.
I wonder if Dana will bring back Punk now? Almost be stupid not too wouldn't you say?

182?
You been sipping too much of that Turkish Turpentine son
It won't let me change the title of the thread
My shame is great ...
if 182 did those kind of numbers, they should definitely try and set up Jones/Cormier 2, again

Fighting with the Stars.
I can see it happening. Eject the real fighters from TUF and fill the house with Z list celebs.

I get your point and that's a big number that wouldn't be so just for Reem vs Stipe.
My problem with celebrities in the UFC. Don't match them up against real and accomplished fighters. Just let them fight another celebrity and watch the numbers go through the roof. Imagine how much interest if it had been Punk vs Mario Lopez or someone like that.
If we're doing the occasional celebrity mma, let's do celebrity mma. It's a worse look for the UFC to have a non-fighter/ammy vs a pro.
Is all because Dana refuses to embrace the freakshow. CM punk should have faced a D lister or at least another 40 year old like him. Maybe even pick someone that does drugs or something, so we could get straight-edge vs I-loove-crack on TV.
Well I predicted no worse than 600k. If the final number is closer to 800k WOW.
Those numbers are fucking MASSIVE for a card headlined by Stipe, Reem and Werdum. Looks like Punk was an even bigger draw than some of us suspected.
BRING BACK PUNK and let's see what he can do. Give him someone with an equable skill level.
CM Punk is a great story, hoping we see him back and soon.
Hope he got a good PPV %.
(I wish Joe Rogan would step up and fight Punk, but he won't)
The most PPV buys by a card without McGregor, Rousey or Lesnar since UFC 182... fucking nuts.
Give him a chance at redemption, egg!

please change it again, seeing as how the buyrate numbers haven't actually been released. the source for this is speculation from raimondi. not to mention that there were threads about this days ago.
also, wasn't there a comment here linking to an entimports article about the same buyrate speculation? was that deleted?

A simple Google search will show you multiple sources indicating 700-800k+
This card was predicted to be in the 300-400k range
