The UFC 204 card is beginning to take shape behind its controversial middleweight championship headliner.

In addition to confirming the expected main event rematch between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson, the Las Vegas-based promotion revealed six other bouts for its Oct. 10 trip to Manchester. Most notably, Gegard Mousasi will square off against Vitor Belfort at middleweight, while Jimi Manuwa will lock horns with Ovince St. Preux in a featured bout at light heavyweight.

Four other contests are set for Manchester Arena this fall: Stefan Struve vs. Ruslan Magomedov at heavyweight; Brad Pickett vs. Iuri Alcantara at bantamweight; Davey Grant vs. Damian Stasiak at bantamweight and Adriano Martins vs. Leonardo Santos at lightweight.

Mousasi has won four of his last five in the Octagon, with an upset defeat to Uriah Hall his lone setback during that time. The former Strikeforce champion scored a first-round technical knockout triumph over Thiago Santos in his last outing at UFC 200.

Belfort, meanwhile, has lost two of his last three. “The Phenom” suffered a first-round TKO defeat to Chris Weidman in a title bid at UFC 187 before rebounding to knock out Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night this past November. Most recently, Belfort was stopped in the opening stanza by Ronaldo Souza at UFC 198.

Manuwa hasn’t competed since UFC 191 last September, when he lost to Anthony Johnson via second-round knockout. St. Preux is coming off a five-round defeat to Jon Jones in a clash for the interim 205-pound strap in his last outing at UFC 197.

solid card so far

If this card doesn't get ruined by injuries or guys pissing hot then it's shaping up great!

Especially for a non-USA card. Phone Post 3.0

202 is big and 205 will be huge. Surprised we don't see a let down card in 203 or 204 but it looks like both cards will be solid as well. Phone Post 3.0

Been great PPV's ever since the "Go Big" Era...

If that's a "Hendo-ender", it becomes unmissable.
It could even be a Vitor-ender.
I don't think people complaining really understand the significance of having both the main event and co-main event headlined by the two active and eldest veterans of the UFC.
You're talking about 20 years of Vitor/Hendo, not to mention the possible perennial mw mainstay in Mousasi, as well as a historical bout for Bisping.
There will be a lot of memories and experience in that cage on that night. In my opinion it's worth the flight. Phone Post 3.0
