Who was the creative genious that decided to put half the thing, including Holloway's image and name, upside down. Is it suppose to symbolize something?... Am I missing something here

I'm getting dizzy looking at it...
Signifies both men are champions and either side up is correct. Pretty simple actually but most mortals don't understand art.
I would assume it signifies the joker and the king.
Except the king got KTFO & Holloway is a lame ass joker that "would like to thank my lord and savior jesus christ".

harsh
the one time the UFC tries to go outside of poster templates A or B and it is horrendous.
what in fuckin tarnation
I read on seddit that the poster was inspired by playing cards.
Wilders of the Lost Each - It's awesome and you can hang it either way.
Then you can take it down and rehang if you chose wrong? What a humbling moment that would be #checkmateUFC
Be better if it was a circle and it spins around until after the fight. Then it would have clear meaning as to who is on the right side up.
superCulo -That's the way I see. Selling them as equals in skill and status in the division. Mirror images.Signifies both men are champions and either side up is correct. Pretty simple actually but most mortals don't understand art.
Not as laughable as the co-main event
ThatsHowIRoll -Not as laughable as the co-main event
I really like that fight but it should be co-main, but co-main in general means fuck all other than the fight before the main fight.
I hate that poster
It works. In Hawaii max is up, in Brazil Aldo's on top. The sponsors and co-main are reversible. That fight is a tough sell. Max has never been pushed by the UFC, also has never caught on with the mainstream, the trash talk even hit a wall because Aldo just doesn't know how to play the game. Die hards love this fight, but it never had a chance of selling
ThatsHowIRoll -UFC, WMMA, our throats. Not as laughable as the co-main event
Here are some other examples of UFC graphic designers greatness over the years
It's for the Australian market.
