UFC 226: Which fight will be cancelled first?

I HATE the thought that we'd lose any main card fights off this fucking spectacular gift from the UFC gods. I will spend the week checking to see if there's any news of a fighter having to withdraw.

If you were to predict which bout will get cancelled first, which one would be your guess?

Main Card

Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier

Max Holloway vs. Brian Ortega

Derrick Lewis vs. Francis Ngannou

Michael Chiesa vs. Anthony Pettis

Gokhan Saki vs. Khalil Rountree

Preliminary Card

Uriah Hall vs. Paulo Henrique Costa

Paul Felder vs. Mike Perry

Raphael Assuncao vs. Rob Font

Max Griffin vs. Curtis Millender

Fight Pass

Daniel Hooker vs. Gilbert Burns

Drakkar Klose vs. Lando Vannata

Jamie Moyle vs. Emily Whitmire

Isn't it kind of fucked that Lando is on fight pass? I'm not complaining, this is a stacked card, and you have to be prepped for a higher ranked fight to cancel.

It's just that this card looks so good compared to the August card. Considering how Lando fights, I'd think you would want him to be seen by as many as possible. The guy is awesome, win or lose.

What a great fucking card. What could ruin it?  That’s what I always ask myself.

Max v Ortega seems to be in jeopardy. Max has never had trouble making 145 but missed weight in his last attempt (extremely short notice) at 155 and Ortega has had issues staying in his lane albeit it not a weight issue. This one wouldn’t surprise me if it ended up being one of them against someone else by Sat.

Hall v Costa, Pettis v Chiesa, and Perry’s fight......those could get scrambled.

Either Felder/Perry due to Felder's luck, Pettis/Chiesa due to Chiesa's luck, or Hall/Costa because Hall is a mental headcase and Costa is on the sauce.

I think Max is fine making weight, he just needs the proper time.

one of the best cards, from bottom to top, that ive seen in YEARS

i'll be surprised if there are no cancelations or fuck ups before

I stopped looking for logic in UFC fight card order a long time ago.

First fight pass fight is the only female fight, big win.

Yes, yes, yes. That is a good sign.

What time are they doing official weigh ins for this one?

If it happens it’ll unfortunately be the main or co-main event.

I dont know which one will be canceled first, but i expect troubles regarding the weight cut for Holloway-Ortega fight

Is this the first time two CURRENT champs have fought each other?

All the fighters I want to see will have their fights ruined somehow: Cormier, Ortega, Saki.

All the fights I'm semi-interested in will also have their fights ruined somehow: Lewis vs Ngannou, Chiesa vs Pettis,

Because that's how the UFC rolls.

I think BJ was 155 champ for the 2nd GSP fight.  Could be wrong

Pettis fight or Uriah hall

If I had to bet I’d say Lewis vs Ngannou. I hope like hell im wrong, but Lewis back issues are worrisome.

Hall said something that struck me as somewhat fucky during a recent interview.

Something along the lines of "I now know what the weight cut problem is, and I fixed it.". When questioned further, he was asked if the UFC-PI was working with him. He said something like "ummmm, no, I decided to fix it on my own.".

Didn't really seem like a stable, confident answer from a guy with some issues in the past. I am a fan of Halls, but he does seem prone to letting his head get the best of him.

What's all this talk about max maybe missing weight? He hasn't missed once & seems to be super disciplined

Max Holloway vs. Brian Ortega

Yeah my thoughts as well.  Zero misses at 145 in his entire career.  He misses a fight at a different weight that he takes on 10 days notice coming back from an injury and suddenly he's John Lineker.
