How is this not a 5 round fight? I thought it was mandatory for PPV main event slots.

Contract was signed for 3.

why? main event on a ppv should be 5

Because when they signed the contract they signed as the co-main. They went through their entire camp training for a 3 round fight. The day of the fight the got bumped to the main. It sucks.

I do think that fights that are labeled “Number one contender” fights should always be 5 rounds, but they aren’t. Maybe it’s something they will think about doing in the future.

Damn Silva basically just handed him the 3rd.

Yeah it was quite frustrating watching Anderson not throw any offense the last round…what was he waiting for?!

Had that been prime Anderson, I think he wins…his goofy shit where he stands there with his hands down is retarded especially after what happened with Weidman and considering Israel hurt him badly in the first exchange of the fight!

Israel is so fucking dangerous though…he has the height, length, speed and skill to hurt anyone…the only other guy at 185 that can match him here is Anderson…I don’t see Whitaker being too effective against him…Gastellum would have big problems too…

Israel/Romero is the fight to make!
