I noticed that the last KOTC event was titled Unfinished Business which is what the next UFC event is titled. Is this just a coincidence or did KOTC hear that the UFC was going to title UFC 49 Unfinished Business? The title is very apporpriate for UFC 49 with Randy Couture vs Vitor Belfort as the main event. Was there some kind of grudge match going on at KOTC 37?
Well..UFC 49's name came out later than that KOTC event. So it was probably knocked off a bit. I think Pride names an event or two after a previous UFC event as well.
There are only so many cheesy tough guy names they can use... they need to start using the headline fight as the name of the event.

I remember when Pride used two past UFC monikers (Clash of the Titans, and Collision Course) in a row, some member of the UG joked that the next show should be titled "Ultimate Japan." I found that humorous.

Ryan G, I agree. However, I do think that UFC 47 It's on and UFC 49 Unfinished Business are really good names. One thing I'm wondering is when they will drop the numbers. Eventually they will have to go.
I still have a feeling that KOTC took the name Unfinished Business knowing an inside scoop that UFC 49 would be titled Unfinished Business.
