A money line, used in UFC, Pride, Boxing, Baseball and Hockey, takes the place of a point spread. Money line betting is simply wagering on the contest based on a given price rather than a point spread. The team wagered on has to win the game outright, regardless of the score. The minus sign (e.g.-130) always indicates the favorite and the amount you must bet to win $100. The plus sign (e.g.+120) always indicates the underdog and the amount you win for every $100 bet. Using this example, therefore, you would bet $130 to win $100 on the favorite, while for the underdog you would bet $100 to win $120.
Is there a schedule for when the odds are released before an MMA event?
Or does it vary from one event to the next? You seem to always get to
these lines first.
"I like Silva at +300 because he does have the size and talent to
overpower and muscle Vera around for 3 rounds. I do expect Vera to win
this, but its a nice underdog bet."
I agree. I'd expect Vera to win, but Silva isn't this big of an underdog imo.
I put a small amount on it.

I send Pinnacle and a couple other shops numbers.......I dont bet into my own numbers. But I think what your generally your asking is if there a time frame that everyone uses , because it seems that I usually grab appealing numbers fast that other shops and casinos put up before most guys even see they're available. The answer there is no there is no set time frame. I dont use one, but I am online and on call pretty much 24-7. My general schedule is Boxing comes out tues or weds of each week, with some futures, and mma depends on how busy I am with the boxing........ which is my primary earner.
Its hard to beat me to a number because this is my occupation. I look daily for numbers that may differ from the numbers that I have pencilled in. If a shop/casino goes up before me w/ odds I have people in Vegas and online that are constantly searching for fresh numbers, new outs, solid payout history, and good prices. Its time consuming and gets hectic, but it pays bills.
