Who would you guys put as the next opponents for UFC 75 fighters? (I only went with fights that I really care about right now, sorry am a bit drunk.)
Rampage vs. Shogun (if he beats Forrest)
Henderson vs. Okami/Macdonald winner for a title shot
Kongo vs. Nogueria for a title shot
Crocop vs. Ortiz (he really should drop down)
Bisping vs. a double cheeseburger (if he isn't 185 he's gotta eat)
Hammill vs. Liddell/Jardine loser
Alexander vs. James Irvin (if he heals in time)
Sakara vs. WEC LHW
Davis vs. Lytle
Taylor vs. Guillard (if he is done with suspension by than)
I like all of those except Hamill vs. Liddell/Jardine loser. I don't think he's ready for either of them with his current record, he should still be fighting guys a notch lower and improving in my opinion.
I don't know, I think Hammil may have a decent chance with Jardine. I think he can get the take down and keep pounding. He has to get on the whole letting them back up thing though. Jardine would punish him for it. As for someone against AA, if Crocop stayed at heavy they could put him against AA. Or if Fedor does not sign in time, and Nogueria were to get a title shot in his next fight, Kongo vs. AA would be fireworks.
do you not realize that Chuck/jardine is a n,mbr 1 contender fight
It is?!?! I sure hope it's not, Rampage has many possible opponents I would rathar see him against more than Chuck (or Jardine) after he won one fight.
Probably more like a #2 contender fight in my opinion (unless they said otherwise). I'd put the winner of Shogun/Griffin ahead of the winner of Jardine/Liddell (also, Dana said "shogun is ready for a title shot now" and "Liddell will have to win a couple")
yeah it is, they are banking on Chuck winning but if Jardine gets luck we will all be treated to Jardine getting his ass kicked by Rampage..Even though it should have been Shogun vs Chuck
well atleast thats what was being implied the winner of chuck/Jardine would get the shot
I think the commercial said they were back on the path for a title shot. As in the both need to get back in the "winners circle."
nah it wasnt the commercial it was something Goldy said Ill have to watch the show again to find the quote
Maybe UFC should do UFC 80 "Shutout." Just have fights where one fighter has never won before. Rampage vs. Liddell, Fedor vs. Nog, Tito vs. Ken, Griffin vs. Bonnar, Sonnen vs. Horn, Leben vs. Thacker, it would be awesome.
lol, Travis Fulton vs Rory Prazak. It'd be like the 6th or 7th one I think.
now that I'm sober, I think Alexander vs. Lambert would be a great next match for both.
