If you haven't bought it, or have been thinking about it, don't. Doesn't even show the full fights, except for the ones on the bonus disc, which is ridiculous.
Overall, I feel cheated, and thought I'd warn anyone on the UG that was thinking about purchasing this.
I watched it when it was on TV and enjoyed it. But i could understand being dissapointed if you thought you were getting the full fights.
Submissable - I watched it when it was on TV and enjoyed it. But i could understand being dissapointed if you thought you were getting the full fights. There was nothing on the packaging saying that it wasn't the full fights.
I'm very disappointed.

I know I'm late to the thread but I actually just picked this up today. Had bought it from fightdvd.co.uk (great guys).
Can't believe that the second disk is just repeats of the highlight fights from the first. There is much less content on these 'best of' compilations than there used to be. I bought this one without even thinking but unless the best of 2012 is better Zuffa can fuck off.
Back of the DVD says Bonus Disc: 10 additional fights. As far as I can tell only one of those (Hominick v Zombie) is actually additional. The rest are all in highlight form on the first disc.
That's a metric fuck tonne of bullshit. If Zuffa feel like the 'Best of' collection is cannibalizing the rest of their DVD sales then make the collection have more content, more fights, more special features, back stage, vlog excerpts etc. and charge extra. Don't just make the collection balls and hope that people buy the event DVDs!
It's a real shame because 2011 was a great year for fights
Skeletor68 -Man, I was highly disappointed. There's literally nothing on the packaging saying that the first disc isn't full fights.I know I'm late to the thread but I actually just picked this up today. Had bought it from fightdvd.co.uk (great guys).

I feel ripped off, honestly. Every other year I've bought had all full fights. Just one shitty DVD if you ask me.

People still buy DVD's?
Anybody who still buys DVDs are goofs. Blu Rays are the way to go, you get so much more content.
Blott Scevins - Anybody who still buys DVDs are goofs. Blu Rays are the way to go, you get so much more content. The blu-ray does have a few more extra fights on the second disc, but again features repeats of fights from the highlights. It certainly isn't a cop out for the poor features on the DVD set. Why not provide the new fights on the DVD rather than rehashing?![]()

Skeletor68 -Oh I don't disagree that this years Best Of sucked a horsecock. But I mean, really, it's 20 bucks for all of the biggest fights and PPV headliners in 1080p. And if you have a sweet setup, what's not to like about that? I'm sure the distributor and UFC will take the complaints into consideration and return to their format from last year. Not just you guys, but a LOT of people are talking shit about this years set.Blott Scevins - Anybody who still buys DVDs are goofs. I think the reason they did this is because they released the 2010/2011 collector set and people wouldn't buy that if the Best of 2011 had most of those fights. Seeing as the Collector Set was crash and burn, it'll be back to normal for best of 2012.

People make informed decisions based on what happened in the past in every second of their life. Clearly that's what the OP did. Instead the format was switched to fuck the consumer. This is why he was voicing his displeasure.
