Everytime I watch a UFC or a boxing event for that matter and they show a picture of the judges, why is it that they are usually old 100lb nerdy looking guys who look like they have never set feet on the octogan.
I have also seen UFC women judges that look like they should be quilting or something.
Where do they get these guys from?

they should have people like Max Kellerman as judges.
the judges have martial arts experience. some of them are also trainers and instructors as well.
yep. i can vouch for jeff mullens. a great guy and a great trainer. oh, by the way. he's over a 100 lbs.
