I have had diverticulitis - it is extremely painful when it hits. Sounds like ol brock needs to add more fiber and less corn.
I get hospitalized at least 5 times a year with this. Its definetly not pleasant, but hasnt ever been anything but a excrutiating 3-4day set-back for me... Stress, I have been informed by many ER doctors, as well as my GI, is a MAJOR trigger for an onset of symptoms. I hope he gets better soon.
