- Did it seem like they were trying to humiliate Askren? The other past opponents were built up to show how tough they were...they showed Askren getting smoked like 15 times, AND played all his prefight trash talk.
- I remember Nate mentioning the BMF belt when he called Mas out in the post-fight interview. In the Countdown, they don't show him saying it. They play Dana saying later "This is for the baddest motherfucker in the game". Are they trying to make it look like it was Dana's idea?
They don't have the promotional footage to work with. Can't use it as an advertisement for ONE or Bellator. The best angle to show is his hilariously vicious trash talk. Jorge is seemingly still trying to get him back for the way Ben mad dogged him in some flip flops.

I kinda thought that too...but if they were treating Askren as they did Pettits, they woulda shown him beating Lawler, and mentioned that he was 19-0 or whatever.

Askren knockout was played on loop for 2 reasons. 1, record breaking fight ending and 2, because of how vicious it was. As far as the BMF belt, Dana doesn't shy away from taking credit for someone else's idea, he is a doofus and loves to be on camera taking about "company" ideas. However he did say it was 50k to make so nate should sell that gold when he gets it
