UFC Fight Night (Jan. 25)

This is shaping up to be a very nice free card (according to mmaweekly):

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: JANUARY 25, 2007 ON SPIKE TV
Hollywood, Florida

-Nathan Marquardt vs. Dean Lister

-Rashad Evans vs. Sean Salmon

-Heath Herring vs. Jake O'Brien

-Hermes Franca vs. Spencer Fisher

-Ed Herman vs. Chris Price

-Chris Lytle vs. Forrest Petz

-Seth Petruzelli vs. Hector Ramirez

Main card airs live on Spike TV on Thursday, January 25 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (ET/PT)

Nathan Marquardt vs. Dean Lister

That is an awesome matchup, #1 contender spot I hope

Silverback too !

Nothing against Herman or Price, but I really hope that this fight won't be televised. There are at least four other fights that I would rather see.

I am very interested to see Franca and Fisher go at it. WAR hermes

Franca / Fisher too much fun !

I hadn't heard anything about Petruzelli/Ramirez before. That's a neat little fight.

In fact, I want to see every single fight on that card. Wow. The least interesting in Evans/Salmon, just because I have to figure Rashad outclasses him, but I want to see if the Lambert fight (which I was very impressed by) was a fluke or not.

Glad to see they are giving Sick Dog another shot. He had an awsome fight with Irving last time out. there is one more fight on this card that should be anounced soon.

"there is one more fight on this card that should be anounced soon."

I would assume that they'll announce two more fights in the near future.

Chagrin-apparently you haven't seen Salmon. Rashad will NOT outclass him. Sean is, in fact, a better wrestler than Evans.

Excellent matchups. Want I don't like about UFN is not seeing the undercard and no DVD's.

Other than the Ed Herman fight, I am excited about every match.

Who do you think will be on TV? Marquardt I would assume. Rashad most certainly. Franca v. Fisher has to be or there will be open revolt. Herring should be since he needs to be introduced.

But what about Lytle? He was in the TUF finale but so was short fuse.

I would assume Rameriez and Petruzelli will be unaired since both are coming off loses and have little TV cache. Good matchup though.

This is probably one of the best UFN's to date.

for sure Nate vs. Dean and Rashad vs. Sean will be the final two fights. It
would make sense to show Herring as well, to 'introduce' him. It would
also make sense to show the Franca / Fisher fight, especially if this is
lining up a title shot for the winner. Makes sense too to show Lytle's fight
and Hermann's fight. Be interesting to see what they do with this card.

Clay Guida vs. Din Thomas as well

People are gonna be suprised with Price/Herman.

I dont think that fight was awesome at all

Fisher-Franca are two of my favs. That will be great.

UFN cards are starting to look pretty smooth...
