Would anyone else want to see a UFC style specific event? Like if Maia could challenge Jacare to a BJJ match in the octagon. It doesnt even have to be an all BJJ card. Just some diversity in the event.
A str8 grappling match between the two would always sound too good to pass up. But that being said, I prefer ultimate fighting. I’d rather see them apply their highest levels in an environment presenting the highest risks. That earns the highest respect. It sounds corny saying ultimate fighting, but i respect the athletes enough to see it as that. If i were to stand across a sealed cage across from one of the top performers i think i would come to that realization at least. Not fear. But just knowing that i was about to have to fight my ass off just to not get finished on live TV. This weed is fantastic. I love this sport and the feelings it provides the participants and the viewers. After a long work week or whatever you do, it really is a great escape for a few hours. Even this forum is a nice escape at times. Respect to you animals.
