UFC hates nick diaz..GO GSP!

i really wanted to see the diaz fight, i guess its because he isnt gonna be around after this fight.

CONGRATS GSP!

why will he not be around?

F Diaz

diaz signed a long term contract with the world fighter that starts in january (thats the org frank shamrock is fighting in)

he won by tko in 2nd rd, so there were plenty of chances to show his fight, and from the sherdog pbp it sounds like it was exciting

Is the world fighter going to be televised or streamed or anything?

i think it's the only fight that didn't get shown. and really one of the few i cared about seeing.

What the hell was that all about???

They showed some abosolute shit instead of my boy Diaz.  Thank goodness GSP won to vindicate the UFC!!!

DIAZ WON knee on belly GP.... GOOD JOB NICK!!! KEEP IT UP...

GSP BROUGHT ME TO TEARS I WAS SO HAPPY THANK GOD HE WON LIKE HE DID I COULDn'T HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE ANY BETTER!!!

Man, I would have loved to see that fight.

The Diaz fight should have been shown instead of Irvin / Ramirez. And I
wouldn't call the Hardonk / Pendergarst fight shitty at all. We got a
glimpse of a heavyweight that may be able to bring it!!

As far as trhe contract stuff goes, UFC has signed many guys with open contracts. Nick has stepped up to the plate as a late replacement before, and they love guys with that rep.

They just ran out of time and they aired the heavy prelim cause the heavies need all the help they can get.

"I thought he was favored in UFC far beyond his record warranted. He would lose fight after fight after fight and still be on."

HE is 6-4 in the UFC, and 3 of his losses were against guys with a combined record of 61 and 6 (with 3 of the losses coming against each other). All three are top 5 WWs in the UFC, and one is now the LW champ.

The only time Diaz lost "fight after fight after fight" he was released by the UFC.

He was then supposed to be on TUF 4, but had to back out because of injury. He got asked back because the UFC needed someone to fight Neer on like 3 days notice and his management was smart enough to get a 2 fight deal. He won both of those fights.

Diaz has wins against Lytle, Lawler,Jackson, Fickett, and Neer. Beyond that he is very popular and has only been stopped once (in his 3rd fight of the same night).

^^^In the UFC WW division...yes.

"As far as trhe contract stuff goes, UFC has signed many guys with open contracts."

Not with guys signed with an org that is well funded and is using Frank Shamrock as their posterboy.

maybe Diaz shouldnt have signed with another organization before this fight if he wanted to be showcased lmao..I cant beleive you tools are surprised they ddidnt show a fight with a fighter who is jumping ship with a new promotion. lol

The Diaz fight would have been a nice finishing touch on GSP's win. They had plenty of time to show it but are likely holding back and saving it for an Unleashed or something. Sucks though, it was one of the main fights I was hyped to see. Dana strikes again.

That shows you just how damn stupid they are at Zuffa. They show FIVE rounds of "good-snoozing laid back in my leather Lazyboy recliner" Tim Sylvia instead of showing Diaz.........give me a BREAK!!!!!

Stretchplum brings up a good point but I guess we all view things differently.
