nkorect - They paid Carwin 40k for his title fight with Brock, and they don't even offer him seats to this event, so they can promote him and throw him on the big screen during the broadcast?
Disgraceful. UFC treats their fighters like shit.
These fighters fight for peanuts, and then don't even get tickets comped to them when they live right down the street?
Now Carwin is stuck having to stream his own companies PPV's. I don't blame him for having to stream PPV's at all. If the UFC took better care of their fighters they would have the money to put back into the company to order these PPV's themselves. But with 1-2 fights a year, at 40k a fight, with $20-30k training camps, I can see how streaming becomes one's only option.
This is just further proof UFC plays favorites, and markets who they choose, and hand out titleshots to whoever they see fit. If anyone deserves a new 6 figure contract it's Carwin.
