How is his chin suspect? I've never seen anyone react with the clarity of mind he did whilst taking bombs off shogun in their last fight 
I doubt Hendo sees it that way. Hendo said he wants a run at the title before he's eligible for Medicare. This is his best chance for doing so.

No one has bought anything hook line and sinker, no big secret that Cormier should win this fight.
Honestly, this is the best thing that could ever happen for Hendo. The man wants a title shot, he's 43 and with very little time to chase that ambition. This is his way to achieve that title contender status. He will be an underdog of course, and rightfully so... But he's got that right hand from hell and The heart of a lion. Anything can happen. Should be an awesome fight to watch and for Cormier will cement his status as next in line after Gussy should he win and win impressively.

He was off TRT for Rashad or Machida, one of those fights. This isn't the first time. I'm not delusional when it comes to Henderson. It's not that I necessarily think he's going to beat Cormier, it's that I WANT him to beat Cormier. I at least want him to get one shot at that title before he retires, just so he can at least say he gave it his all. He wants that title. The quickest way to get there is by planting a big ol' right hand on Daniels face.
