UFC London NOT guaranteed to air on UK TV
With the launch of the UFC Fight Pass this past week, UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson .vs. Manuwa was confirmed as an exclusive for the Fight Pass, at least in the US market. Like the Singapore card this week, these cards in international markets are designed for broadcast in those markets rather than worldwide, and are available online for those dedicated fans who wish to watch them.

However, PlaceToBeNation can exclusively reveal that the UFC Fight Night card in London on March 8th is currently not confirmed for broadcast on the UFC’s British television partner, BT Sport.
How do I say this politely....

Fuck Zuffa! Biggest fight in the UK for years and they aren't showing it on UK TV. This really shows what they think of their UK fans but more importantly it shows what they think of their deal with BT. Scum fucks have fucked their Fox deal and fucked the UK deal by going with BT. It's us the fans, that's left to pick up the shit.

Fuck Dana! Fuck Gary Cook! Fuck Zuffa and fuck MMALogic, because he's a dick and will come in here trying to support them no matter what.

I won't be purchasing this shit, third rate card. Phone Post 3.0

Fuck Zuffa

Fuck them right in their greedy arses Phone Post 3.0

We have this weekends fights on tv just not live Phone Post 3.0

.......... I've just looked and UFC Fightpass isn't available in the UK either?!

WTF Zuffa? Phone Post

BT only have rights to the cards shown on US TV. I guess teh UFC will try to charge BT more to show that event? I can understand tomorrow's fight not being on TV as it wouldn't be live (clashes with football), but given that BT have shown a lot of commitment to the UFC (magazine show, localized presenters etc), it would be pretty shitty of them to withhold what is probably the most valuable UFC card to BT (hometown fighter, live at primetime not 3am).

I've been an ardent supporter of Dana and Co, through thick and thin, but this will seriously test my patience.

Dana - don't deny UK fans the chance to see Manuwa's fight.

I only subscribe to BT for The UFC, if you start restricting what we see I will unsubscribe.

You're already fighting an uphill battle in the UK, don't be the architect of your own downfall over here. Phone Post 3.0

Better to express our views now so Dana understands the potential impact of such a decision.

I don't actually believe this will happen.

The only way I can see that happening is if he's delegated full responsibilities for European operations to Garry Cook.

If Garry's in charge nothing will surprise me. Phone Post 3.0

Not really, it's based on schedule changes and twitter statements from both parties, which are hardly rumours.

If you read the article, this isn't rumour. It's based on statements from BT themselves.

The Singapore card is on tomorrow at 9 it's not live, but how many of you record the usual shows live and then watch next day like I do and not look at any results. Phone Post 3.0

The reality is that BT Sport spokespersons don't appear to know their arse from their elbow, so I wouldn't take their word for anything.

For example, in the past 48 hours alone they had UFC Fight Night 34 on their TV listings, then they tweeted they didn't have the rights for it and wouldn't be showing it, then they tweeted that they did have the rights for it and would be showing it.

I think there's no possible way they won't show a UFC event that's airing in the UK during primetime.

I will only get pissed off when I have to pay 45 quid for a card.
Until then I'm just mildly irritated.
Start of a slippery slope though! Phone Post 3.0

At present Zuffa seem to be dropping the ball over and over Phone Post 3.0

But do we have to pay to watch it live? Right now when I go to UFC.TV it says: 'Buy This Event: £6.99'
