The Canadian, who was clearly losing the fight, could have said she could not see as a result of the eye poke and would have won by DQ. Instead, she went back into the fight. The Brazilian, who was clearly winning the fight, said she was KO’d as a result of the upkick and took the easy win, rather than go back into a fight she was already winning. This is how I saw it …
