When the UFC comes to network television this Saturday night (Nov. 12, 2011) it will do so with FOX Sports rolling out the red carpet to welcome the fastest growing sport in the world.


Literally.


Before the live UFC on FOX 1 broadcast hits the air at 9 p.m. ET and Cain Velasquez defends his heavyweight title against Junior dos Santos, FOX is throwing a party that will have a "Super Bowl type of feel."


That means you can expect plenty of celebrities and sports personalities to hit the Red Carpet, which opens 4:00 p.m. at the Honda Center.

Not that it matters but these are all basically D level stars. Seems kind of pointless. They should have had real fight fans like Stallone, george clooney, michael clarke duncan, the rock, jersey shore cast, jason statham, justin bieber,  etc if they want to play up the celeb angle.
