Jones right nostril - 350k is life changing money though. And now Dustin and Israel are champions they will hopefully make a lot more next fight.

Hey Einstein, you need to factor in:

Taxes

Trainer fees

Agent fees

Training expenses.

Adensanya is probably taking home 100-175K

Well no shit, but you also need to factor in his 50k bonus and other sources of income like sponsorships, non-obligatory bonus’ etc… wouldn’t surprise me if he made half a million for this fight before expenses/tax.

So no, he’s not walking out with 100-175k, that’s ludicrous.

And  100 gr to 175 it’s absolutely life-changing money to most people. Not saying he doesn’t deserve it if he doesn’t properly invest that money in himself he doesn’t deserve his future earnings

Not accurate at all.

You think that's good money? Far underpaid.

Dont forget about that Reebok money

Bigmeech -

Kelvin got 150k for all that damage he deserves to get a million at least.

Disgusted

I agree

It's good money compared to what it has been but I wish it was more. Boxers are geting paid millions for the beatings they take. Different business model I know, but it still sucks.

Don't all 4 fighting for the interim titles get PPV points. That's the reason for no win bonus.

You are probably the same bitch that bitches about having too many watered down cards and on the back end cries about fighter pay too. There’s no pleasing the faggots on here

I wonder if they got an addictional bonus on top of the $50k.  I hope they got at least another 200k minimum.

Almost everyone on the prelims is making less than 50k. What a joke

so Gastelum made less than Krylov…? Gastelum recently beat Jacare for crying out loud.

I think the 50/50 show/win bonus needs to change at this point. Maybe something like 75/25 as 50/50 is a huge jump for these guys over split decision losses and such.

So many people bitching about fighter pay but what other orgs pay anywhere near them and have been able to stay around? Fighter pay has come a long ways from where it was and truth is even if UFC doubled the purses, fans would still bitch.

One FC and PFL are paying decent so fighters have options. When their contract comes up, they should test the market.

You’re correct in that other orgs like Bellator, ONE are improving their purses, but I think the main point of contention with the UFC paying a lot of these guy peanuts is the fact that the UFC is clearly in a position to pay them more.

If you listen to Dana since the ESPN deal, they sure sound like they’re doing gangbusters. Unfortunately the fighters don’t seem to be benefiting from that from a financial standpoint though.

Please explain with examples and figures of how fighter pay has not increased along with the growth and revenue of the UFC as an organisation.

If you can’t do that then your statement means dick

There’s a guy on the main fucking card here making 12/12, what else needs to be said? If business is so great no fighter should be fighting for peanuts like that (on the main card of a ppv no less). That sit well with you?
