fucking a, if they can become successful in enough foreign countries then it doesn't matter if they absolutely tank in domestic ratings, the international markets will keep them in business forever.

TV ratings in Brazil are DOWN.

Everywhere they go it will be hot in the beginning.

Then it will cool off as it did here.

Again, Brazil gets every show FREE and even their local UFC events are doing less ratings.

That's not good when a few years ago all talk was how Brazil would host soccer stadium sell out shows and had the most ravenous fans.

If Brazil already cooled off, how will they expect to retain their traction in other countries without a legacy tie to MMA?

Every show isnt free in brazil.... around 6 shows are free on globo and the rest are behind a subscription network. The numbers for the free shows have cooled off but subscirption numbers are up and that's what matters.

Zuffa gets 60m a year from brazil.

Pay TV (cable and satelite) is growing all over the world. Most markets dont have the amount of sports that we do in the states and they dont have 200 plus domestic channels. Most people just have the few free to air channels. As pay tv grows the UFC will hitch a ride. It's one of the only few sports that you can successfully export.

Also, let's not forget that a lot of shows hosted in Brazil has been in the middle of the week, during a time that a lot people are still at work. Phone Post 3.0

If true, very professional. Will most def. help MMA/UFC go mainstream. Good for the sport, IMO.

Is Stevie Janowski making their promotional materials? Phone Post 3.0
