They have both lost 3 of their last 4, and honestly Weidman looked to be the better of the two. Having them fight each other is marketable being former champions, and beneficial to both as it pushes hem back into the quasi-contender range with a win.
This is a likely matchup in the near future.

That's a very interesting match up. I too have difficulty seeing them in the same weight class, but they're both legit 185 lbs. I might lean towards Hendricks on this one.
