Listening to GSP's latest interview on the MMA Hour, I noticed how perfectly diplomatic he was being about the PED situation. He refused to single out any fighter and preferred to address the issue as a problem with the system. He stated on a number of occasions how he was proud of being a UFC fighter and that his goal was to help the UFC find a solution and grow from there. He specifically mentions the UFC and not simply the sport of MMA. Despite the perceived rift with DFW, GSP remains a company man.
If you consider GSP's record, his reputation, his achievements, his desire for cleaning up the sport and vocal concerns for fighter safety, the UFC would be hard pressed to find a better leader and spokesperson to help them navigate successfully through this fiasco.
Monsieur Georges St-Pierre, Executive Director, Fighter Safety and Health Compliance, UFC.
Matt Hughes already has that job.

42 posts in nearly 5 years. This is a good one
That would be like Le Tour hiring Lance.

What's GSP going to do different? Promise a blowjob if they test clean?
I don't want to see GSP working for Zuffa.
It would be awful nice to see Zuffa having to answer to GSP in his official capacity though.
That would be tremendous.

Good idea. If he wants the system to change, why not create the system yourself. There's no better man to be at the forefront than a former fighter. Having one of the GOATS is sweet icing on the cake.
My ape technique, requires you to answer to me Dana.
