UFC signs Ukrainian talent Nikita Krylov

As UFC plans to make a show in Russia, the promotion continues to sign East-European fighters. In addition to Rustam Khabilov (16-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) who is a Combat Sambo World Champion (2007), European "Army Hand-to-Hand Fight" champion Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov (19-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Strikeforce import Adlan “The Wolf” Amagov (12-2-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC), the UFC has signed Ukranian heavyweight Nikita Krylov (14-0 MMA). The guy is a real deal and has great potential as he is undefeated, none of his professional fights have gone the distance and Krylov is just 20 years old! He has a Karate background and holds a notable victory in his last fight over German Gabriel "Panda" Tampu which happened at M-1 Challenge 38. Check out this fight below.

This is a really interesting signing. Dude has gone pretty much under the radar, as I don't recognize a single one of the dudes he's beaten.

Nevertheless, this is a notable signing for two reasons: 1) he's a Heavyweight and 2) none of his fights made it out of the first round and 12 out of 14 didn't make it past the first half of the first round. The UFC's HW division is facing some serious depth problems right now so pick ups like these are very welcome. Damian Grabowski is another Eastern European who really should be on their radar screen right now.

Odd I'm not seeing this story anywhere else at the moment though.

The heavyweight division needs new talent desperately. This is good news. Phone Post

Never heard of him.

UFC hasnt gone after many Russian's, they let Bellator pick up alot of good talent, hopefully this is a sign they are going after more guys from that part of the world.

I hope they sign the Flyweight Ali B.

After watching the fight linked in this tread, I feel like bad things will happen to him in the UFC. I could be surprised though!
