I watched the PRIDE fights on the FSN show tonight and was really impressed with the skill of the fighters. The PRIDE and UFC titles should be unified with champion vs. champion in each weight class. After seeing several PRIDEs and UFCs,I suspect the PRIDE fighters have the edge in skill and technique over the UFC's guys. What do the forum members think about this idea? Could it happen?
Pride is generally considered the organization with the higher skilled fighters.
Fedor would kill Arlovski, as would Mirko and dare I say Nog.
I'd go with Chuck for his size, takedown and sub defense and his punching.
Rich Franklin would hold his own anywhere.
HW Pride wins for sure, the rest I don't know. Not even sure I'd pick Silva over Chuck. Franklin, Hughes, GSP could beat anyone their weight in Pride

UFC's 185 weight class is more deeper than PRIDE's 183 pound weight class.

HW - Fedor would win. AA hasn't been tested like he needs to be to step in with Fedor yet.
LHW - Toss up IMO. Though I think Shogun maybe the best.
Below that weight, I'd have to say the UFC has the edge. Until you get to the 155 area which is a grey area anyway with the UFC.

I think he would lose but I would give Arlovski alot more credit then you guys are. but Id liek to see him go to Pride. Your onlya s good as your best comptition and well the UFC HVWT isnt exactly a skilled filled pool to choose from.

fedor, nogueira, cro cop and kharitonov would not lose to any of the ufcs heavyweights.
chuck might beat silva, but rampage has beat chuck, and id give shogun and maybe even rogerio the advantage over chuck. pride is better at 205
185 goes to pride. they have henderson, whos a notch above franklin. and busta, kondo, and rodrigo are better than the challengers in the ufc. this goes to pride.
ufc has the 170 because pride doesnt have this division.
pride has lightweight division cause the ufc doesnt have one anymore (as far as I know?)
