Yeah no shit. This isn't a new thing. This is the basis for match ups and money.
It's much more common in boxing to have really padded early records with prospects getting fed jobbers until they reach the 20-0 mark.
Also far fewer variables in boxing to give a freak loss.
That said, it's still a feat in either sport. Long undefeated runs at a high level are the most impressive thing in MMA.
