unilateral work worth doing?

I've noticed that lots of people are now preaching the importance of unilateral work. Just wanted to get the forum's opinion on it? If you do use it how do you program it? Do you do unilateral exercises for the legs on the same day as you do standard bilateral exercises or split them up so you do unilateral one day and bilateral the next?

yes. Because I have dysbalances from my BJJ/MMA.

 There is nothing wrong with doing this type of work. IMHO it is not superior to more standard exercises. If you have a major imbalance that needs correcting then this type of work may be called for. Otherwise I would use it as a supplement to regular training.



Same day is fine.
