I still don’t hold that against Jones. Jake Ellenberger vs Jay Heiron as the co-main is what cancelled that shitty excuse for a card.

As fans of the sport, none of us can really hold that cancellation over anyone. We have no stake in it whatsoever. Egg and the fertittas do/did have a stake in it, and Jones’ pattern of sociopath, addict, behavior is what brings the deserved negative feelings towards him, and that may have been simply the straw that broke the camel’s back for the UFC.

Funny how these texts indicate the UFC was unwilling to waiver. Yet here we are almost 15 years later, and recently he has proved he hasn’t changed. Crazy how they didn’t “need” him.

The doctor stopped it after R4, big john ordered the doc out of the octagon and continued the fight.
