USA Today covering Jens Pulver and MMA is HUGE!

I know I already shared this article once, but its a huge article! As MMA grows, being covered by these massive media outlets like USA Today proves that what we have worked so hard to grow and be a part of is being noticed.

Huge props got to go out to Jens Pulver for finally getting his moment to shine, his chance to stand in the spotlight when the sport is as popular as it is. Its great to see him and the WEC getting this major attention. Articles like this are pushing the sport towards the legitimacy it deserves.

lol some jerk posting comments on the article is saying MMA is not a sport :P

Deep down it`s not a sport to me either.I just call it a sport for the sake of arguement.

Really? How would you classify it? Not being contentious, just curious. To me, modern MMA is just as much a sport as Boxing or kickboxing (or any other combat sport). I think even if you move closer to vale tudo rules it would still be a sport as the goal is to win the competition, not necessarily to inflict pain and damage on the other guy or to simply survive as the case would be in a true fight.

human cockfighting IMO

do you work for Faux News?

I honestly don`t know what I would call it.

It's like curling. Not the weight lifting kind, but the ice sliding kind.

Fights coming up on Sunday, lets see if Jens can...
