Weigh-ins registration:
Saturday January 5th 7-9am at the Richmond Raceway Complex
Competition begins 10am
Age Divisions:
Kids (5th-8th grade born 1994-1997)
High School (9th-12th grade born after 9/1/1988-1993 plus be enrolled in HS)
Senior Men/Women-Born before 1988 (not enrolled in HS)
All divisions will use the Madison system for weight classes (grouped according to actual weight)
EXCEPT Senior Men’s divisions which will be: 140, 160, 180, 205, 285 lbs.
All divisions will only have one skill level except for the Senior Men’s which will have
Beginner (less than 2yrs exp) and Advanced (more than 2yrs exp).
Match Lengths:
Kids – 4 minutes
High School – 5 minutes
Senior – 6 minutes
Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers
Team Awards for Champion and Runner-up
FILA/USA Wrestling rules will be used and can be found at www.fila-wrestling.com
Uniform should be rashguard and shorts, no t-shirts or shirt less permitted.
Wrestling shoes, headgear, mouth guard are optional.
Brackets will be double elimination.
Registration fee will be $60 which includes USA Wrestling membership (good till 9/08)
All competitors must be USA Wrestling members.
Spectator admission is $5
