USC and LSU makes all the sense...

in the college football world. Sadly, one of those teams won't get to play for a national title.

Its Sad in this system, that the 1# ranked team doesnt get to play for it all.

I disagree..

Say USC, LSU, and Oklahoma all entered there final games undefeated. Say those final games were against the teams they all lost to this season and the teams were all at the current state as when they lost to them...
So basically push all the loses to late in the season to make them even...

USC loses to unranked CAL...

LSU loses to #17 FLORIDA...

OKLAHOMA loses to #13 K.STATE...

Now who had the worst lost..??

CLEARLY USC!

Problem is people lose sight of the early loses and want to put more emphasis on the late loses... but in the current system you can't. Fact of the matter is USC should have taken care of a horrible CAL. Team...

But...

Bottom line is it still doesn't mean shit we need a playoff...

You should have to win your own conference to even be considered for the title game.

And OU got dominated in their loss, LSU & USC did not.

This is the first time in the "great" BCS system history that the 1# ranked team at the end of the year did not make to the championship game

"Didn't Oregon get screwed like this about 3 or 4 years ago?"

No, it was CU. CU won the Big 12 and Nebraska played Miami in national championship.

And Nebraska got murdered.
