Does Masvidal have a real chance against Usman outside of a perfect flying knew or a quick 3 piece before the wrestling onslaught? I am a big fan of Masvidal but don't see this going well for him.
Usman will just bully him to the cage and take him down. I think it will look like the RDA fight.

I agree with the first two posts. Street Jesus is better off fighting fellow strikers. More exciting and greater chance of success.

If Masvidal fights anyone not named Nick Diaz next he's making a huge mistake, gotta strike while that's hot. He's in a very rare situation where fighting for the title isn't his best career path, especially if Edwards manages to upset Usman.
Usman paved his way to the title with a more cautious wrestling based approach. I think he goes back to the against Masvidal.

Of course Gamebread can win, but he needs a way to deal and defend against Usman wrestling, Masvidal is a stud in Jiu Jitsu and one of the best well rounded MMA fighters, his wrestling is good, it does not need to be better than Usman just good enough to help him come up with a defensive game plan and then mix up his top level striking!
