Man, what a great show. Its basically an Israeli band of brothers about the Yom Kippur War. The action isn’t amazing, and the battle scenes dont stack up, but overall its really good. The actor that plays Avinoam is great and deserves an oscar.

My girlfriend's dad fought on the Sinai front during the Yom Kippur war. He mentioned the show was pretty good. Haven't watched it yet but need to before I see him at New Years.
Binged it all in 3 days. Awesome show. Watch it in Hebrew with subtitles. Dubbing is lame.
My dad was in the Israeli Air Force during the war but was managing deployments and such as he tells it. He had been a paratrooper in the Army before and was involved in one minor exchange of fire in the Sinai.
