Apparently the reported fight between Velasquez vs Silva (Bigfoot) is not happening.
Rumours indicate Velasquez vs Mir could be on, possibly in May....
I hope this happens! 
why do people want this matchup so badly? Just for the sake of honoring Mir's winning streak and setting up the next #1 contender?
Because the actual fight in and of itself is not intriguing at all. Cain via GnP TKO. He will ragdoll Mir and land in side mount and punch the shit out of Mir until he goes fetal/curls up
A matchup like Cain vs Werdum is actually intiruging because Cain's biggest strength in wrestling is nullified. So we get to see how Cain's kickboxing holds up without TD threats against Werdum's vastly overlooked Muay Thai

Cain is fighting Mir on the fox card in May. At least that's what it seems like.
Yeah heard it yesterday on Bloodyelbow radio they said they are hearing cinco de mayo, May 5th, Cain/Mir and that makes the most sense.
I think Big Foot if he comes to the UFC soon can fight maybe Kongo if he beats Hunt in Feb, Carwin depending on when he will return.
